Life can be overwhelming. A certified organizer can help.

I’m buried in email. And 10 more just came in.

I can’t find what I need, so I just buy another one.

There’s too much in my head. I know I’m forgetting something.

This meeting is pointless. I don’t have time for this.

What if it didn't have to be?

Together, we will create time and space for what matters to you.

Home Organizing Tips from the Essential Organizing Blog

My Approach to Expert Organizing

I founded Essential Organizing to help people like you organize your home to make space for what matters in your life. I work with busy families and retirees who are tired of fighting with the spaces in their homes, don’t know where to start or just don’t have the time to organize on their own. It's time to love your organized home.

I also offer productivity consulting and group facilitation. You can finally take control of your inbox, manage the tasks coming at you and hold effective, high-stakes meetings. My take on productivity isn’t just about processing email faster or getting the most out of every minute of your day, it’s about clearing your head and finding balance so you can focus on what matters to you. You deserve a great day at work.

What People Are Saying About Essential Organizing in Seattle, WA

"Emily is the best! I was sure she’d know organizing techniques, but she brought so much more to my project: creativity, understanding, hands-on help and endless ideas. I hired Emily to help me convert a basement room into a guest suite (dealing with a 40-year-accumulation of stuff) and convert a spare bedroom into an art and reading room. She helped me create a vision for each space, and offered ideas for how to get there: placement of furniture, what to keep and what could go, and ways to achieve a certain feel for each space. I’m so happy with the results. Emily’s methods for sorting what to keep or toss were an essential part of the project….no pressure or judgment, just guidelines for me to use in deciding what could go. I highly recommend Emily for her creativity, project management, follow-up, great documentation, kindness and wonderful humor. I have more projects in mind to work on for this coming year."
